Devil Train is an explosive bluegrass ensemble that was sentenced by the devil himself to play Monday nights at midnight for eternity. Since 2005 Devil Train has had a Monday night residency at the Buccaneer, one of Memphis' most famous dive bars (1368 Monroe Memphis TN 38104). Over  the years, they have developed a loyal following that ranges from bluegrass purists to punk rockers.  The Monday night experience is widely known around town as a seriously good time, and was written up in Spin magazine as "what's happening in Memphis". Devil Train features the banjo stylings of Randal Morton who has shared the stage with the likes of Bill Monroe, Tony Rice, John Hartford, Jerry Reed, George Benson, and Bela Fleck. It also features the wildly entertaining guitar and fiddle work of Clint Wagner. Devil Train’s repetuar  is a mixture of authentic bluegrass , memphis soul, gypsy jazz, and ragtime. A Devil Train show is a sampler of string music from different parts of the world and is a celebration of Memphis'  musical past from the 1900’s all the way to the present.
